More importantly, though, he works to reduce avoidable accidents, keeping your employees safer.
Among other qualifications for his work, Michael, with over twenty-nine years of insurance experience, has achieved the following:
- Associate in Claims
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter
- Associate in Risk Management
- Cal OSHA Certificate-General Industry
- Senior Claim Law Associate
- OSHA 501 Trainer
- Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers

- Written injury and illness prevention program(IIPP), as required by SB 198 and enforced by Cal OSHA
- Written hazardous substance communication program as required by federal and state occupational safety and health regulations
- Pre-employment screening techniques
- Proactive Employer-Employee relations program to reduce the submission of frivolous and fraudulent Workers Compensation claims
Michael also refers clients to sources of safety-related information and materials on the Americans with Disabilities Act; assists in the investigation of work-related injuries, accidents, and near accidents with advice regarding corrective actions; and provides information and assessment of changes in law affecting employers with regard to Workers Compensation benefits and other related matters. Essentially, he is a valued messenger of safety and bearer of goodwill in the workplace.
