Provider Relations
Each sport has its go-to position: Soccer has the sweeper, baseball the designated hitter, every relay sport its anchor. Luzette Graves, our Provider Relations Representative, plays that role on each of our clients’ employee benefits service team.
Her two decades of high-level experience in health care, benefits administration, and claims advocacy coupled with strong relationships with insurance carriers, local medical providers, major hospital centers in California, and governmental regulating agencies equip her problem-solving capabilities.
In addition to monitoring insurance carriers’ networks from Monterey to Santa Barbara and producing comparative network reports for employers and easy-to-read doctor lists for employees, Luzette supports Employee Benefits Account Managers with the following:
- Finding and accessing appropriate specialists, primary care providers, and other medical services
- Facilitating and expediting administrative paperwork such as authorizations, appeals, and grievances
- Facilitating timely access to urgent and critical services at Centers of Excellence
- Resolving difficult claim problems
- Facilitating communication between physicians, insurance carriers, and patients
Though Luzette is an unbeatable resource for bad times, she also enriches our clients’ good times, i.e. informing pregnant couples’ OB / GYN selection and helping new residents find primary care physicians who suit their personalities. She is an integral part of the unique nature of our Employee Benefits services.
