    Property & Casualty Sales Executive and Principal Greg Morris has advanced the agency for over forty-five years.  His previous community involvement includes 25 years of service in Rotary, past President of the local American Heart Association board, co-founder and past President of Mission College Preparatory, co-founder and past Chairman of San Damiano Foundation, Mid-State Bank & Trust board member, as well as a French Hospital board member.  More recently, Greg joined the Founders Community Bank board.  He has also served many years on the IBA West (Insurance Sales Executives & Agents of the West) board.

    Greg’s interests include early California history (particularly of the Missions), the writings of Thomas Merton and Maui.  He enjoys spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren, working with his son, Brendan, daughter, Kerry, two son-in-laws, Jon Pollock and David Morgan and staying in touch with classmates from Bellarmine College Preparatory and Santa Clara University.

    Property & Casualty Sales Executive and Principal, Gene Garritano has helped lead the agency for over thirty five years. Gene’s community involvement includes past work on the board of March of Dimes and Old Mission School; he served as President of the SLO Exchange Club and San Luis Obispo Golf and Country Club.

    Gene’s passions include babysitting his grandchildren, traveling with his wife Bonnie and their friends and playing golf at the San Luis Obispo Country Club, on the Monterey Peninsula and around the world. He enjoys sharing his insurance knowledge with son-in-law Justin Maire. Gene did undergraduate and graduate work at Youngstown State University.

    Property & Casualty Sales Executive, Principal, and Sales Director, Brendan Morris, is now over 17  years into a career that traces both his father's and grandfather's footsteps. Brendan values the importance of community and industry involvement. His participation has included the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, and SLO Symphony Boards as well as the Mission College Preparatory Board of Regents. Additionally, he was part of the SLO Leadership Class XI, the 2006 Pacific Coast Business Times 40 under 40, the 2006 Tribune Top 20 under 40, and a member of the Employers Insurance Group President's Council.

    Brendan and his wife, Vicky, live in San Luis Obispo with their two girls. The girls both attend Old Mission School, Brendan's alma mater. In addition to spending time with his family, Brendan enjoys playing softball, golf, and going to Dodger games. He graduated from the University of Santa Clara with a degree in Finance.

    Born and raised in San Luis Obispo, Property & Casualty Sales Executive Sharon Garnett draws on over a quarter-century of experience at Morris & Garritano.  She began her insurance career in 1981, after graduating from Mission Junior High and San Luis Obispo High Schools, while attending Cuesta College.  In addition to her familiarity with the history of San Luis Obispo and surrounding areas and her depth of insurance knowledge for the construction and manufacturing sectors, she has developed an insurance program for California’s orthotics and prosthetics industry. 

    Her community involvement has included serving the Boy Scouts of America, volunteering with Special Olympics, and coaching youth soccer and basketball.  In addition to the SLO County 4 Wheel Drive Club and Almond County Quilters, Sharon’s interests include spending time with her family and friends, traveling, gourmet cooking and researching the deep family history of her local roots.

    Property & Casualty Sales Executive Justin Maire joined Morris & Garritano in 2004 after working briefly for another agency in Santa Rosa, CA.  Justin's community involvement includes work on the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors committee. He was also named the 2006 New Rotarian of the year by the Rotary Club of Grover Beach.  Justin is a graduate of the San Luis Obispo Leadership Program Class XVI and currently sits on the board of Softec, the Central Coast Technology Association.

    As a father of four small kids, he doesn’t have much time to devote to his other interests of fishing, snowboarding, playing music and golf.  Justin graduated from Sonoma State University with a major in Business Finance and a minor in Economics.

    Property & Casualty Sales Executive Mark Anelli has been with Morris & Garritano for almost three years.  His community involvement includes service to the Rotary Club of San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, National MS Society, NFL Alumni and Pro Athletics Outreach.

    Mark’s interests include spending time with his wife and 2 boys and watching a good movie.  He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and is also a graduate of SLO Leadership Class XIX.

    A Cal Poly graduate, Property & Casualty Sales Executive Daniel Gilman grew up in the Central Valley of California and moved to San Luis Obispo to study Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, and in doing so, fell in love with the Central Coast community.

    After his graduation, Daniel explored different career paths and ultimately realized the world of insurance was the right fit for him...he also decided he had to live in San Luis Obispo. In order to better serve his clients Daniel obtained an AAI, Accredited Advisor in Insurance, designation. When Daniel isn’t at work, it’s safe to assume he is helping plan his wedding with his Fiancé, or he’s enjoying the outdoors by cycling, running, or hiking. Daniel admits he can’t sit still for very long, but that’s why he loves the constant flow and ever changing business of the insurance industry.

    Jennifer Schwab has been with Morris & Garritano since 1989 and has worked exclusively in the Residential Care/Social Services Department for over 10 years.  She brings experience in personalized account services and excels in customer relations.  Her knowledge and communication skills help provide a comfortable environment and insure quotes are competitive yet comprehensive, meeting each client’s individual needs.  Her community involvement includes teaching Sunday school to 1st-3rd graders at Mountainbrook Church.

    Jennifer’s interests include spending most of her free time with her family, to which she is very close.  Together, they enjoy the beach (especially exploring tide pools), bike rides and BBQs with friends and family.

    Jon Pollock joined Morris & Garritano in 2005 and leads our Estate & Financial Planning department.  After attending Santa Clara University he worked in the finance industry in San Francisco.  He has earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation after completing advanced courses in several topics including insurance, investments, taxation, employee benefits, estate planning, accounting, management and economics.   Jon leads the Estate & Financial Planning Department focusing on helping our clients protect and grow their assets.  In addition, he will help create a plan to distribute the assets to heirs in a tax efficient manner.

    His community involvement includes serving as the current President of Habitat for Humanity for San Luis Obispo County.  Jon is a graduate of SLO Leadership Class XIII and a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.   During his free time, his interests include running, golfing, playing music and reading.

    Surety Manager and Sales Executive Pam Hummel has 25 years of surety bond experience, including production and account management.  She is active in trade associations, including CFMA, AGC of California, NASBP (National Association of Surety Bond Producers), CICPAC (Construction Industry CPA’s and Consultants) as well as past President of the Surety Underwriters Association of Southern California.  She has two daughters and her hobbies include: reading, writing, running, soccer, live music, watching college football and basketball, photography and baking.
