Dan Troy Employee Benefits Practice Leader, Risk Advisor

Employee Benefits Practice Leader and Principal, Dan Troy, graduated from Cal Poly with a degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Prior to joining the insurance industry, he was an accountant with Price Waterhouse Coopers, LLP in the Silicon Valley; providing financial and tax accounting services to public and privately held clients in the technology sector. Dan co-founded Gray & Troy Insurance in 1999, which has since joined forces under the Morris & Garritano name. As an employee benefits advisor, Dan has centered his focus and continuing professional education on the Affordable Care Act, including Healthcare Reform Studies administered by The American College.

Dan is currently a member of the San Luis Obispo Community Foundation Investment Committee and the Caballeros de San Luis Obispo Board of Directors. He has previously been involved with SLO Noor Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the ALPHA Board of Directors.
